Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. Angela Lemond is a professional who holds an MA degree and is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) as well as a counseling intern. She also serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Products and Services at Lemond Nutrition. With her experience, Angela oversees aspects of Lemond Nutrition including clinical care, marketing, partner relations, and new business development. Despite her schedule, Angela still dedicates two days per week to seeing patients. Her areas of expertise include pediatrics, digestive health, wellness, and behavioral nutrition. She understands the impact that behavioral health has on an individual's relationship with food and eating habits. Angela enjoys providing support to individuals and engaging in discussions that involve the family unit. She strongly believes in promoting health and wellness for every one of their body sizes. Rather than enforcing dietary rules, she prefers offering gentle guidance on nutrition. Angela pursued her education at the University of Texas Southwestern where she completed the coordinated dietetics program as a second career professional. Additionally, she holds a Master's Degree in health counseling and is currently working towards becoming a licensed professional counselor (LPC). At Flourish Counseling Center, under the supervision of Natalie Morse (LPC s RPT), Angela provides counseling services to clients. Angela eagerly anticipates expanding her work, in the field of food and mood therapy for patients and clients. Advocating for nutrition and actively participating in matters are crucial to Angela. She actively engages with state and national issues related to food and nutrition support and coverage. For 16 years she served as a media spokesperson for nutrition including 9 years as a spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (2011-2021).
