Hello there! I'm Elissa Lueckemeyer. I'm the owner of Food 4 Success, LLC. I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share my passion with you. First and foremost, let me tell you that I absolutely love food and my biggest goal is for everyone to enjoy it as much as I do. Life is simply too short not to savor every bite without any uncertainty or guilt holding us back. I've actually had experiences where I've felt unsure, about what to eat and even guilty about indulging in foods. Before pursuing a career in dietetics my true passion was actually becoming a ballet dancer. Unfortunately, due to not nourishing my body, I faced setbacks like fatigue and injuries that hindered my performance goals. Additionally witnessing friends and family members struggling with diseases made me realize how frustrating it can be when faced with an overload of misleading and conflicting advice. That's when another passion of mine was born. In order to equip myself with the knowledge needed to help others navigate through the confusion surrounding nutrition I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition with a minor in Chemistry from Texas State University San Marcos. Following that I completed Texas State University's Dietetic Internship program in 2010. As a dietitian licensed in the state of Texas my education, personal experiences, and extensive training enable me to provide individuals from all walks of life reliable nutrition therapy based on evidence. I am committed, to helping you make choices about your health by offering guidance tailored specifically for you. These services offer long-term benefits by promoting relationships, with food. It brings me joy to witness the improvement in my clients' well-being witnessing them achieve their goals all while still enjoying their meals! I feel blessed to have the opportunity to pursue this profession. I am a member of organizations such as the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics the South Texas Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Texas Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. With my experience in settings like long-term care and rehabilitation as well as personal nutritional counseling, I have honed my skills. Additionally, I have contributed to online and print nutrition publications such as Moxie Magazine, TheNest.com, LiveStrong.com, Modern Mom Nutrition, and the Houston Chronicle. Furthermore, I maintain my nutrition blog called Wholesome Simplicity. Moreover, I've worked as a company dietitian for Ballet San Antonio. Served as the lead dietitian at New Braunfels Regional Rehabilitation Hospital. I firmly believe in embracing foods and promoting a healthy eating lifestyle that focuses on gradual positive changes rather than striving for "diet perfection." Diets are often short-lived. Can negatively impact your metabolism with results. Instead, my approach involves helping individuals achieve outcomes through changes in their lifestyles along, with comprehensive nutrition education. I'm also extremely passionate, about nutrition therapy. Using food to help manage illnesses like diabetes, heart disease, gastrointestinal issues, cancer, and more. I offer nutrition support for individuals who require tube feeding. Additionally, I enjoy assisting organizations and businesses in helping their patients or employees achieve health goals through wellness presentations covering a range of topics. I have a knack for creating courses that provide tips at people's convenience. Some interesting tidbits about me; I must admit I tend to be a bit messy when it comes to cooking. Just ask my husband! Seafood and chocolate are two of my favorites and occasionally you might find me gracefully spinning around my kitchen without breaking anything. Above all else, I take pride in being the mother of Matthew and Emily. During my pregnancy journey cravings, for Whataburger were definitely a thing. It's worth mentioning that a significant part of this business was developed during nap times.
